• CTV + CSFS: While the Bitcoin community just had a heated argument on the activation of OP_RETURN, 43 engineers now advocate for the activation of CTV and CSFS opcodes. The proposition was predicated upon how these opcodes can expand the functionalities possible on Bitcoin. 
• Taproot Triumph: The Bitcoin network just surpassed Labelled Outputs activation, enabling advanced metadata tagging for wallets and services. This small but powerful upgrade paves the way for more refined UX in wallets.
• Layer2 Surge: Lightning Network capacity reached a record 7,500 BTC, reflecting growing enthusiasm among nodes and service providers for faster, cheaper BTC payments.
• CVE Watch: A minor vulnerability was disclosed affecting a popular Bitcoin node software. The core dispatched it within 24 hours; users are urged to update to avoid exploit risks.

Global Crypto News

• Stripe Acquired Privy: Privy is a wallet infrastructure startup helping applications have plug-and-play wallets for their users. Stripe acquired it in its bid to doubledown on crypto, and stablecoins in particular. 
• EU’s DLT Reporting Update: Updated regulations roll out June 17, requiring crypto asset providers to file standardized reports. Scoped to compliance, not price guidance.
• India Greenlight: The Reserve Bank of India approved pilot integration of stablecoins in cross-border payments, aiming to reduce remittance costs.
• ETH Staking Milestone: Terra’s airdrop after Ethereum’s Shanghai upgrade has surpassed 4 million ETH staked, pushing total amount to over 28 million ETH.
